Both Lorne & Nadia counsel survivors of childhood abuse, on a one-to-one basis and in providing effective group therapy. By abuse we mean: physical, emotional, mental, verbal, sexual, and spiritual. Many clients of the above traumas suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
We have found journaling, art therapy, reframing, gestaldt therapy, story telling, symbolic work, vizualisation, and guided meditation etc., as effective in helping survivors along the road to recovery and healing.
Lorne is a survivor of childhood incest, and has spent many sessions in therapy working through his "stuff". He has a special spot in his heart for these persons.
